Since We Talked Of Growing Old
I am slowly learning
to take a swift look at the past
& a sweet look at the future
when I hold autumn
against my senses
when the air hangs
with the aroma of fresh linen
when all the roses
are wearing raindrops
I don’t suppose it matters
that it has only been forever
since we talked
