Kim was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area. Her background in transportation and marketing as business administrator, manager as well as an over the road truck driver has taken her all the continental United States and Canada before settling in Colorado for the past 25 years. She moved two years ago and gained her residency in Mexico and now lives in Lake Chapala full time promoting the Lakeside music scene.
