Being Prepared When It Matters Most: A Singular Service of the Lake Chapala Society
Planning ahead is one of the most caring gifts we can offer ourselves and those who may one day need to help us. To support members of the Lakeside community in preparing for emergencies and end-of-life matters, the Lake Chapala Society has created a helpful booklet titled Being Prepared for Life and Death Lakeside. This thoughtfully prepared guide provides clear information about essential legal and practical matters in Mexico, including Notario Public Directives, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and more—making complex topics easier to understand and navigate. In addition, LCS offers an Emergency Safety Net Registry, a secure way to ensure your important information is available when it matters most. Members simply complete the registry form and submit it to the LCS Service Office, where it is carefully and confidentially maintained. All emergency and post-life planning information is treated with the utmost respect and privacy. Established procedures are in place to safeguard these records, offering peace of mind to you and your loved ones.Taking a little time now can make a profound difference later. LCS is here to help every step of the way.
